Early Career Scientists

AGRO is an excellent organization for early career scientists.  There are opportunities for professional recognition through awards and participating in the development of symposia, development of publications, and service on committees within the division.

New Investigator Award – Recognizes scientists who have obtained doctoral degree in last five years and have produced significant accomplishments conducting research, consulting or regulatory studies.  Each year three finalists are selected to present a talk at the ACS National Meeting and receive $1275 each for travel and registration expenses.  For more information download the application form.  The deadline for applications  is March 22, 2017.
