Description: While biological products are becoming an impactful tool in the crop protection industry, their complex and unpredictable nature pose unique complications in formulation and development.  Our speaker will discuss the primary obstacles in the formulation development of biopesticides, including stability and delivery issues.  In turn, she will explore strategies and technologies to overcome these challenges, thereby ensuring effective and efficient formulation processes.

Biography: Isabella Kitano is a Research Scientist at Indorama Ventures’ Crop Solutions division in Brazil and currently leads the BioSolutions platform. She holds a bachelor and master’s in science degree in Biotechnology. Has more than 6 years of experience in biopesticides development and bioprospecting of new microorganisms and today has a more focused orientation towards biopesticides formulation.
